The impact of disorganization
October is Mental Health Month, and I don’t know about you, but I could sure use a refresher on how to stay clear-headed during these times! We’re also heading into the holidays (what???), which can be super stressful, so now is the time to take stock of your mental state (how are you truly feeling?), and the state of your surroundings (is the clutter bringing you down?), and take action! Yes! You can do it! Just setting a timer for 30-60 min, and doing some decluttering every day is all it takes! Wouldn’t it be nice to have a clear mind so you can enjoy yourself, your family, and your home?

Tips for Holiday Houseguests
I love the holidays! Getting together with friends, feeling the good cheer (most) everywhere, and sometimes having family come and stay with me. I like to reduce my holiday stress by starting to get my house in order at least two weeks before the family comes. The first article has some tips for getting your house guest-ready. I also thought it would be a good idea to remind ourselves of some common courtesies to extend to our hosts when WE are the guests. Pretty eye-opening I thought. Let me know what YOU think! 🙂
